Generator rewards now require demonstrated fooling performance, and discriminator miners can safely purchase additional submission credits without changing hotkeys. Generator qualification: earn image rewards above a 2% image fool rate and video rewards above a 1% video fool rate, measured independently across the last 7 days, with at least 20 benchmark evaluations per modality. Twenty is a minimum, not a rolling sample cap. Default challenge allocation is 36 qualified / 8 onboarding / 6 probe slots, retaining opportunities for new and under-threshold miners. Reward-state safety: separate image/video EMAs immediately clear disqualified reward history. Qualification and scores follow hotkeys rather than reusable UIDs, with persisted qualification as payout fallback during API outages. The 16% generator allocation and 30/70 image/video weighting are unchanged. Paid discriminator resubmissions: after the free counted submission, gascli d push offers an interactive 0.5 TAO worth of SN34 alpha burn. Existing stake uses burn_alpha; otherwise the CLI uses add_stake_burn. The prompt shows the actual cost, including up to 2% alpha price padding and additional transaction fees. Unused credits are reused on retries; only explicit duplicate-file responses skip uploading. Burn recovery: signed transactions are saved before broadcast, concurrent local pushes are locked, and interrupted burns are recovered from finalized chain history. Uncertain outcomes block another burn. Keep the same local GAS_HOME and preserve its journal/receipts; this is not a cross-machine exactly-once guarantee. Submission and recovery details. Validator reliability: durable asynchronous generation callbacks reduce stale-task failures, and dataset/cache handling reduces memory pressure.
