Existing wallets keep working. Users who want quantum-resistant signing can create a new account with compatible wallet software. Quantum-resistant wallets without key rotation need no account registration or registration deposit. Rotating wallets require registration and a one-time 0.2 TAO deposit that stays permanently locked. Normal transaction fees still apply. Users can move existing funds and stake through the supported transfer or coldkey-swap process. Bittensor is building a path to post-quantum account security, giving its users a way to prepare as AI and quantum computing advance.
