To actually mint, root still has to turn on the network-wide switch, each subnet has to enable it on its own, and there needs to be a TAO/USD oracle price. If people start paying this way, using a service will burn that subnet's alpha. Demand would show up in the token itself, not only through emissions. Prepaid credits would also flow toward services people actually want to use again.
