Dylan Uys & Ken Miyachi: AI Model Routing, Inference Costs & AI Agents, Yugos, Bittensor

About SN34 Yugos

Who chooses your AI: you, the app, or a router? Dylan Uys and Ken Miyachi return to Ventura Labs after episode 5 for two conversations recorded in Austin. The BitMind co-founders explain Yugos, their new direction for Bittensor subnet 34: choosing the model, provider and reasoning effort for a task. With Dylan, we explore the goal of balancing answer quality, cost and speed, how routing differs from multi-agent orchestration, and the challenge of keeping evaluations useful as models change. With Ken, we discuss the human role in software development, lessons from BitMind, enterprise adoption, provider incentives, and possible business models for agent products. Their cost and product discussions describe early observations, goals and plans as of this recording.
