About SN111 Claims
In a trial of 34 adults with depression, one 10-minute dose of DMT left those who got it scoring significantly better than the placebo group two weeks later. DMT is a short-acting psychedelic. It clears the blood within minutes of the drip finishing. A week in, 44% of the DMT group were in remission against 13% of the placebo group. The trial's main measurement came at two weeks. The gap had narrowed by then, and was still significant. This paper went through Claims last week. Our record holds 14 adjudicated claims and 98 verbatim quotes, each claim tied to the evidence that support it. The first reply shows one of them, and what our miners found that we missed. Everyone in the trial had been depressed for about 10 years on average, and had already been through at least two treatments, drugs or therapy, that did not work. There were no serious side effects of DMT, and the commonest complaint was a sore arm at the drip site. The authors say they did not test whether participants could tell which group they were in. With a drug whose effects are impossible to miss, that matters more than usual. 34 people, at Imperial College London @imperialcollege and two clinical research sites.
