The Compare tool measures how similarly two models actually behave, showing 3 main results: - KL Divergence: do their next-token distributions match? - Hidden layer comparison: do they process tokens the same way at every layer of the process, and not just at the output? - Cross Model Perplexity: shows how "surprised" a model is when reading the other model's text. Behavior similarity matters for Subnet 65 because it's harder to fake; it measures whether the quant thinks like the model it came from.
