#926 On 2026-10-20 eight eMudhra (emSign) intermediate CA private keys were found to be trivially recoverable. Anyone can use them to issue a trusted TLS certificate for any host. certifi through 2026.10.18 still trusts them (GHSA-6q48-6c7w-9gw2); 2026.10.19 removes them. An OS update does not help, because requests/urllib3 use certifi's own bundle. Adds a certifi>=2026.10.19 floor to requirements.txt (setup.py reads it into install_requires). With this floor, a validator's auto-updater (pip install -e .) upgrades certifi when the change reaches main. Other miners and validators must reinstall, or run pip install -U certifi.
