Ingest runs before the swap loop since #781, so a backlog it can't finish in one pass now blocks every vote. A fresh database pages back to the program's first tx (~790k signatures) and a 5h+ outage decodes more than the watchdog allows; either restarts forever without voting. Each pass now decodes at most 500 txs or 30s and stops the cursor there, so the backlog drains across passes and a restart resumes. Paging never goes back further than 6h (the longest swap life is ~5h); a cut is logged. Co-authored-by: anderdc [email protected]
