How on earth do you decide which SN to choose

I feel like I've been just losing money lately, have not made one good call in over a month, then I see cases like SN92 where if I chose that less than a week ago I'd be up over 1000%. Really irks me too because I was considering investing in it too just randomly but decided against, been banging my head against a wall. What signs should I be looking out for?
