worker-images-v2
About SN116 Carbon
Released validator worker images (IMAGE-RELEASE-01), cut from main ce0fe89 on the owner's direct authorization (2026-10-08). Why v2: LA-F10. scripts/install_miner.sh --release <tag> pulls every worker image by digest instead of building locally, so verify_current_worker accepts the install. worker-images-v1 cannot be pulled this way: its own installer predates --release, and the install stops before the checkout moves and names the build command instead. Pre-dispatch check: the Release rehearsal passed on this exact commit (run 37784198276). An earlier rehearsal passed on 7a3aa5d, but #810 (LA-F9) merged before the cut, so the tag was moved forward to carry it — a --release install takes its Carbon source from this tag. Release-path changes since v1 (20fb0ad): fe7d83a0b names the installer's analysis and GPU worker images so docker image prune does not delete them as dangling (LA-F2); b8fc19622 makes the GPU worker build script executable for install_miner.sh --gpu. Images: C-03 CPU worker (JAX), accelerator GPU worker (JAX, A40 pins), PyTorch CPU and GPU workers, and the Launchpad analysis image. All are built FROM the pushed C-03 parent's registry digest. Not the miner-facing release: it predates the setup-snippet fixes LA-F12 to LA-F14 (#811), so a --release install still shows the old MCP snippets. It serves the acceptance cells it was cut for: F01 with --release, and C4 on the released accelerator image. Not qualified: GPU rows are UNVERIFIED until the A40 acceptance run (OWNER-A40-ACCEPTANCE-GRANT-01). Security acceptance before mainnet is the owner's. Published digests Pending: the build workflow has not completed. This section is filled in from the run's records when it does.
