About SN104 TAOstatus
Milestone: Our security audit engine can now scan repositories across any language and tech stack. A few weeks ago, this was just an idea. Today, it works end-to-end. You point the engine at a public Git repository, and in around 90 seconds it produces a severity-ranked security report covering real weaknesses, including: - Vulnerable dependencies — known CVEs in your libraries - Hardcoded secrets — API keys and tokens, with values redacted - Insecure configuration — Docker and IaC misconfigurations - Code vulnerabilities — SQL injection, XSS, weak cryptography such as MD5/SHA1, unsafe deserialization, and more Every finding includes the exact file and line, a plain-English explanation, and a recommended fix. Findings are ranked from Critical to Low, making it clear what should be addressed first. The part we are most proud of is how the analysis is executed. Every scan runs inside an isolated, zero-egress sandbox. Untrusted code is analyzed without executing it and without allowing it to interact with anything outside the sandbox. Security tooling should be safe by construction. Under the hood, we're bringing together multiple security analysis engines covering 30+ programming languages into a single unified report. And because the auditing capability is built on a decentralized network, it isn't locked behind a single vendor. Next up: a dynamic security layer that goes beyond identifying vulnerabilities and actually validates them through controlled, contained exploitation. #Bittensor #Tao #TAOstatus
