This release consolidates all changes merged since v4.9.4. Intermediate version releases are intentionally omitted. Highlights Resolution-aware video incentives Added per-tier Veo video pricing so rewards reflect delivered resolution and audio characteristics. Hardened tier classification and reward calculation for unknown or partially identified Veo generations. Rebalanced video challenges to 40% 480p, 40% 720p, and 20% 1080p to improve coverage while controlling generation cost. Generator evaluation throughput Doubled the default generator challenge frequency by reducing the interval from 220 blocks to 110 blocks, improving evaluation coverage as generator miner registrations increase. Validator substrate reliability Added a block-staleness watchdog that detects subscriptions that remain connected but stop delivering blocks. Added forced reconnects, lifecycle-safe task cancellation, and cleanup around substrate subscription attempts. Added regression tests for stale subscriptions, reconnect behavior, cancellation, and task cleanup. Bittensor 10.4 compatibility Updated Bittensor, btcli, and async-substrate-interface dependencies. Restored the project’s expected CLI/default config parsing behavior under Bittensor 10.4 across validator, data-service, and generator-service entry points. Preserved explicit operator control through BT_NO_PARSE_CLI_ARGS.
