The team has finished implementing the model-training side, so miners are no longer just finding adversarial examples; they can now use those examples to actually train and improve the model. We believe adversarial training is one of the strongest ways to make models more robust while maintaining high accuracy. This is just the first step, though. We're starting with the current base model, and as we see our miners getting more comfortable with the training pipeline, we'll gradually move toward larger frontier models and VLMs. Honestly, after watching what our miners have been doing with adversarial scanning, we're pretty confident in the talent on the network. There are some seriously capable miners here, and we think we can build a very strong adversarial training dataset together. For validators: please pull the latest update and restart your validator. For miners: keep doing adversarial scanning as before, run adversarial training and submit the required training metadata on-chain. For the initial rollout, we're temporarily reducing miner emissions to 10%. We want to make sure the new training pipeline is properly aligned and everything is working as expected before we turn emissions back up. We'd rather take a little time to make sure it works right than rush it. We're also doing another 500T buyback. The team has 100% conviction in Bittensor and its potential to grow, and we believe Perturb has a real opportunity to contribute something meaningful to the ecosystem by building SOTA models through decentralized adversarial training. We're going to keep pushing Perturb forward step by step, and we'll continue supporting the subnet through additional buybacks along the way.
