What a wallet page shows, and what it refuses to guess
Paste any address: Taosis says what kind of key it is, what it holds at today's prices, what it paid where it can prove it, and what happened to it.

First, what kind of key it is
A coldkey is the wallet: it holds free TAO and α positions and controls hotkeys. A hotkey is a key a coldkey controls; when it is a validator, other people's stake is delegated to it. The page first says which one you pasted, in a sentence with a badge, and for a hotkey links to its owner.
No connection is needed; everything is public chain state or Taosis's own index. The page prints the time it was read from the chain, and says when a refresh is in progress or the last one failed and it is showing the previous read.
What a coldkey page shows
Four tiles: total value in τ, free TAO, the value of what is staked at today's prices, and the hotkeys the wallet controls. Total value is left blank when a held subnet has no price yet, rather than valuing that position at zero. The dollar figure beside a τ amount is display only.
The positions table lists α held per subnet, through which validator, the price, the value and — where the holders scan covers it — the wallet's rank among that subnet's holders. A position whose validator is not registered on that subnet is flagged: it earns no emission until the validator returns or the stake is moved. A validator hotkey shows the reverse: stake delegated to it, nominators, its take and its subnets.
Average buy price, only when it means something
Avg buy is the weighted average cost over the buys Taosis indexed for that wallet on that subnet. It only knows fills since it started watching, so each figure carries the share of the held α it covers.
Below a coverage floor the column shows a dash and says why on hover: a basis inferred from a sliver of the holding is not an average buy price. A position that predates the index shows a dash for the same reason; cost basis with a choice of method is the Portfolio page's job.
What happened to this wallet
The history is written from the indexed ledger by fixed templates — no language model — so every line is reproducible and cannot invent a number. Repeated fills on one subnet are merged, and when only the newest slice is listed the page says so, because the totals count the whole indexed history.
Beneath it is the raw activity, every fill linked to its block, and the line that governs all of it: Taosis observes the chain since a date it prints live — earlier activity is not shown, not missing.
